Grace Law

Abacus Federal Savings Bank

Launching my career in the dynamic financial industry with Citibank in Hong Kong, I embarked upon a professional journey that has since flourished over three decades. My path in banking took root in the competitive environs of Hong Kong, where foundational experiences at Citibank and Chase laid the groundwork for a transcontinental ascent to Chase New York in 1990. Culminating in 17 years with Chase, including an enriching stint back at Chase Hong Kong, I forged a robust framework of strategic leadership and financial expertise.

The ensuing 11 years at HSBC saw my strategic Influence propel branches towards exemplar financial achievements, while my subsequent tenure of six years at Cathay Bank solidified my position as a figurehead in the industry. In May 2021, a new horizon unfolded at Abacus Federal Savings Bank, where I steered retail branch operations, deposit operations, and retail banking strategies to new pinnacles of efficiency and service quality.

Parallel to my career trajectory, my heart has pulsed with a deep commitment to community service. This dedication to societal enhancement has been expressed through leadership roles within the Kiwanis Club of Chinatown and the inaugural establishment of the Kiwanis Club For Community Care NYC. The latter, an initiative of my design, mobilizes volunteers to vigilantly support New York’s Chinatown, reinforcing the community and serving as allies to local law enforcement.
